Honest Review. I haven’t cleaned my brushes in a while. The larger brushes such as powder, foundation and blush brushes needed extra scrubbing with the manual pad it brings but the smaller eyeshadow brushes didn’t need the extra scrubbing. The larger brushes also don’t fit in the brush holder. You will have to do it in batches and clean out the water every time you add new brushes because the water does get dirty so I can say it does lift off the makeup that’s on there, just not all unless you add the extra manual labor. The larger brushes have to be held while the machine is on.
Nice compact make up brush cleaner. Would make a good gift and works very well.
Aside from the issue with the adapter needed. This actually clean pretty nicely. It's good for very small batches of brushes and fits most of them, not all of the brushes type. For the price, it's worth it.
